IT Project Coordinator

Candidate Requirements IT Project Coordinator
Candidates provided must be pre-screened to ensure they fully meet the qualifications and experience level requirements. IT Project Coordinator is responsible for working with IT Managers and Technical leads to plan, organize, coordinate successful delivery of IT initiatives. IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for these activities in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Adaptable and a proactive in identifying and addressing project risks and challenges and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with individuals from various technical
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • A customer-focused mindset to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and address business needs effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Capture project/initiative requirements and objectives
  • Create project and resource plans
  • Coordinate with team members to establish schedules, milestones, and individual tasks
  • Utilize project management software such as JIRA to monitor project progress and adherence to schedules
  • Arrange & lead project and team meetings
  • Document meeting minutes and action items, and ensure follow-up
  • Track project progress, team performance, and communicate updates to stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
  • A degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years experience as an IT Project Manager/Coordinator
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project management and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in agile projects
  • PMP Certification is a plus
