Job Details

Requirements:

  • 8+ years as a DB2 DBA or 3+ years supporting IBM DB2 Warehouse
  • Hands-on experience administering IBM DB2 Warehouse in AWS
  • Strong experience with database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and administration
  • Experience with data warehouse migration and data validation
  • Strong SQL skills with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
  • Experience supporting ETL processes and working with DataStage and Cognos
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery
  • Experience monitoring and optimizing database performance in cloud environments
  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and operational support skills
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) is preferred
  • Healthcare or Medicaid data experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance standards
  • Experience supporting large-scale batch and reporting workloads
