Senior Surveillance & Access Control Technician Type: 1 year contract (with likely extensions)
HYBRID: When the contractor needs to be in the office or on site at other locations, they will need to be available, and it will be non-negotiable
Location: Madison, WI
Interview Process: First round via Teams and Second round In-Person.
Must Haves Skills

• 3+yrs working with Video Surveillance (Network/Server/Workstation)
• 3+yrs of Cisco Networking (Routers & Switches)
• 2+yrs with Web Filtering (Palo Alto & Zscaler)

Nice to Have Skills

• Door Controls Knowledge
• Building Automation Knowledge

Additional Details

• IT Professional that works on a team responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication.
• This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, we filtering with Palo Altos and Zscaler, as well as mitigating issues as they arise.
• Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates. Work is performed at nearly 200 agency locations, state-wide, including the agency's many secure sites, often independently.
