Position Summary
This position will lead quality control operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and high product standards. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Quality Control, Inspection, Quality Assurance, and Validation while collaborating cross-functionally to support production and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee QC teams and ensure lab operations align with regulatory and business goals.
- Maintain and improve quality systems, SOPs, and compliance processes.
- Conduct internal audits, manage third-party lab testing, and oversee regulatory inspections.
- Handle customer complaints, product recalls, and compliance documentation.
- Manage employee training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Regular international travel required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- 10+ years of QC/QA experience
- 5+ years in leadership roles with FDA audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations (FDA, EU, Health Canada).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
