Job Description:
** Will be required to be onsite at 1980 West Broad St, Columbus, 5 days a week.
The candidate will be working in The Ohio Department of Transportation s Division of Planning, Office of Technical Services, Roadway Information GIS section (RIGIS). They will be supporting aspects of ODOT s Roadway Information Management System (RIMS).
This position will function as a highly skilled CGA with specific responsibilities that include:
Develops and supports GIS based data collection applications.
Provides direct support for enterprise GIS implementation.
Lead efforts to support various software and hardware systems.
Lead team to develop various GIS tools to support ODOT s Roadway Information Management Section.
Creates automated geographic information system (GIS) processes to streamline workflows or system integrations.
Creates automated GIS processes to support data QAQC procedures.
Uses adaptive / iterative development to refine automated procedures based on feedback, to enhance procedure performance, or meet other needs.
Performs complex data analysis.
Monitor system status and data integrity.
Technical writing skills to create/update manuals and guides required for business needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure stability of solutions.
Communicate status to managers and project sponsors.
Required Skills:
4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
5 years experience with ArcGIS suite products (Desktop, Pro, AGOL)
3 years editing and maintaining data in a GIS environment
1 experience creating SQL queries (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)

Linear Referencing Systems knowledge
ArcGIS Online (Webmap creation, Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder)
