Ideally, they would like someone who is located in Jackson, but they might be OK with someone who is located in the Southeast but will travel frequently. Job Description
This role is remote with travel. Must be willing to travel once or twice a month to Jackson, MS.
The Salesforce Architect will serve as the technical expert in Salesforce, leading the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce s capabilities, a strong technical background, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, developers, and external partners to drive successful projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 10- 15+ years of experience in Salesforce, focusing on architecture and solution design; strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud is preferred.
- Certifications: Candidates with Salesforce Certified Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, or other relevant certifications will be prioritized
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, REST/SOAP APIs, and data modeling. Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership, Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of Salesforce developers, administrators and quality analysts, supporting professional growth and career development.
- Project and Resource Management: Manage resource allocation, timelines, and project milestones to deliver Salesforce solutions on schedule.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with executive and cross-functional teams to set the strategic direction for Salesforce implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and optimize team processes, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement within the Salesforce team.
- Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess team performance, set individual and team goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Architecture Design: Lead the design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Solution Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
- Custom Development: Guide the development team in creating custom applications, integrations, and workflows within the Salesforce platform.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into technical requirements.
- Integration Strategy: Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentor junior team members, and set development standards for Salesforce projects.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, performance testing, and ensure adherence to security protocols and compliance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Salesforce s latest offerings, releases, and best practices to ensure solutions are innovative and optimized.
