Desktop Support

Must Haves:
- 1+ years of experience in an IT support role (no more than 6 years)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting basic connectivity issues
- Basic understanding of hardware components, installation procedures, and troubleshooting common issues
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Reliable form of transportation
- Team player, reliable, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Pluses:
- Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory
- Understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols
Day to day:
We are looking for a tech savvy level 1 Desktop Support technician to work on a hardware installation in Irvine, CA. You will be supporting the install of new computers throughout a new 12 story building. You must be comfortable using a dolly to transport boxes of hardware, in addition to unpacking the hardware and plugging it in. You will be making sure the hardware is fully operational before moving on to the next station, and providing support wherever needed throughout the project.
