Location: Ashburn, VA (with future assignments in Sterling and Manassas)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Decommissioning Technicians to support ongoing decom projects across multiple data center campuses. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in data center environments who are looking to grow their careers in IT infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Job Summary:

- Perform rack and stack operations for hardware installation and removal
- Execute decommissioning tasks including hardware disassembly and asset tagging
- Support hardware troubleshooting and break/fix ticket resolution
- Assist with equipment deployment and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a data center environment preferred
- Familiarity with decommissioning processes and hardware handling
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware components
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Additional Information:
- Initial work location is Ashburn, VA
- Team will later be distributed across Sterling and Manassas campuses
- Contract expected to extend up to 12 months based on performance and project needs
