USPTO Automation Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a USPTO Automation Specialist with our industry-leading client. We are looking for "Automation Specialist" who has been around the block and is a pro with scripting + tools and languages like, Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, having knowledge of other scripting and CM tools such as Puppet is an added advantage but not a must.
A professional with an automation mindset who has the aptitude to automate anything and everything from day-2-day operations to building automation pipelines to host services on premise and on Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). A consummate "Platform/Infrastructure-As-A-Service" expert with at least 15 plus years of functional experience. This role requires deep understanding of all aspects of application hosting from a "F5/load balancer to a Database" and everything in between.

Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Requires demonstration of superior technical competency in design, develop and modification of code to deliver on-premises infra needs and Cloud (AWS Azure Core Services) primarily AWS automation needs resulting in Platform/infrastructure as code (PaaS/IaaS) deliveries.
• Translate design decisions, architecture designs to code for continuous deployment and repeatability. Leverage the latest DevOps and Cloud automation tools such as AWS/Azure Resource Manager templates and Azure PowerShell, Terraform and Ansible.
• Ansible, Salt stack, Python, Terraform Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions to deploy cloud solutions. Leads team's coding practices, release management.
• Be-Ready to Automate, anything and everything - come up with alternative solutions where end-2-end automation is not feasible due to external factors or support groups.
• Participate in regular sprint, releases. Ensure automation user stories a are part of your everyday delivery.
• Collaborate with other passionate individuals on automation strategy and best practices.
• Create and document low-level designs, as built and standards on SharePoint/Teams.
• Collaborate with Solution architecture, BA's, platform engineering and product teams for delivering Infrastructure as code.
• Work within a project management/agile scrum teams in a leading role as part of a wider team. Utilizes Agile and DevOps Processes and Principles, Crafts CI/CD pipelines; converting builds to use custom and cloud native build and release pipelines.

Requirements:

• 12 + Years of Functional experience, 8 years or more as a Platform/Infrastructure Solution Architect or PaaS, IaaS Specialist.
• Eight (8) years of experience architecting all aspects of Platform computing (compute, storage, platforms, data, load balancing, observability, and security) and someone who lives "Dev-Sec-Ops".
• Hands on experience in cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design, and implementations, including IaaS and PaaS.
• Experience with popular cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience deploying applications on-premises and in cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform and also Hybrid.
• Proficiency with OpenSource and IBM/RedHat Middleware Stack like WildFly, JBOSS, ActiveMQ, FUSE, CAMEL etc., is an added advantage

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
