Job Position - Technical Project Manager

Client is seeking an innovative Technical Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects that drive innovation and operational excellence within our engineering teams. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ideal for someone passionate about delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing global controls for Software Engineering and Quality Engineering while leveraging emerging technologies to create cohesive, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Technical Programs: Manage end-to-end delivery of software initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
Drive Agile Execution: Facilitate Agile practices across teams, ensuring efficient sprint planning, execution, and delivery.
Enable Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with architectural standards.
Governance & Controls: Apply engineering governance frameworks and controls to maintain compliance, quality, and risk mitigation throughout project delivery.
Tooling & Automation: Leverage modern development and quality engineering tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, test automation, code quality platforms) to streamline delivery and improve reliability.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, product, operations, and external partners; communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively.
Future-Facing Strategy: Support initiatives incorporating emerging technologies, including AI and intelligent automation, into the delivery roadmap.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master s preferred.
7+ years of delivery management experience, with at least 5 years in a technical or engineering environment.
Proven success delivering enterprise-scale software or infrastructure applications.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe frameworks.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, GitLab, Artifactory, etc.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
Background in engineering controls or governance, particularly in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
Familiarity with software development and quality engineering tooling, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code analysis.
Exposure to AI-driven technologies or experience managing projects integrating machine learning or intelligent automation.
