Job Title: Low Voltage Cable Installer

Job Description:
A leading security client of TEKsystems is seeking motivated individuals to support the buildout of a state-of-the-art facility for in the Morristown, NJ area. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in low voltage cabling and structured telecommunications infrastructure.

Job Description:
A leading security client of TEKsystems is seeking motivated individuals to support the buildout of a state-of-the-art facility for in the Morristown, NJ area. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in low voltage cabling and structured telecommunications infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and route Cat6 and other low voltage cabling throughout the facility
- Perform cable terminations, punchdowns, and labeling
- Assist with the installation of wireless access points, racks, and other telecom hardware
- Support structured cabling and telecommunications setup under the guidance of senior technicians
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge or experience with cable pulling and installation
- Familiarity with Cat6, punchdown tools, and structured cabling practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with rack and stack installations
- Exposure to low voltage systems and wireless access point setup
