The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Journeyman Data Management Engineer to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Tampa, FL.

The position is contingent upon award of the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate datasets and models complex business problems.
  • Facilitates the integration of cloud-based data solutions to promote scalability and enhance efficiency, optimizes data processing workflows, and resolve data related issues Integrates new project data sources with the current USSOCOM data classification and protection tools and platforms.
  • Supports appropriate data tagging for data used in all projects.
  • Assists in implementing data loss prevention measures

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
  • BA/BS + 3 years relevant experience, AA/AS and 7+ years of experience, -or- 9+ years of relevant experience (considered in lieu of degree).
  • Current DoD 8140 - IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills at the Tiers 1-3 level
  • Expertise integrating logical and physical data models, designing schemas, and architecting data structures that meet complex DoD requirements.
  • Experience with tools/frameworks such as RMF, encryption methods (AES, RSA), access control models (RBAC, ABAC), data anonymization.
  • Expertise in integrating data from multiple sources and transforming it for storage and analysis, using ETL frameworks and tools.

Desired:
  • Master's degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI
  • Database experience
  • Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
  • Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience supporting USSOCOM

$57,500-$117,900
