Position: Senior AI Engineer (Clinical Domain is must)
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: 6+ months
Description:
We are looking for experienced AI Engineers with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions specifically for clinical research and medical monitoring use cases. These individuals will collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, data scientists, and product managers to design innovative AI-driven solutions that enhance clinical study design, patient monitoring, and decision-making.
The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the clinical domain and a strong track record of building and operationalizing AI models in real-world healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clinical teams to understand study design requirements and translate them into AI/ML solutions.
Develop algorithms for medical monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
Design and implement data pipelines for handling clinical trial and patient monitoring data.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy requirements (HIPAA, GxP, etc.).
Work with stakeholders to validate models and integrate solutions into production workflows.
Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI for healthcare and apply them to improve solutions.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers when required.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with hands-on model development and deployment.
Strong programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Proven experience working with clinical trial data, EHR/EMR data, or medical monitoring systems.
Understanding of biostatistics, study design, and clinical research processes.
Familiarity with FDA regulations, HIPAA, and data security requirements in healthcare.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
