Job Details
Position: Network IT Engineer
Location: Boise, Idaho (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
We are seeking an on-site Network IT Engineer to support the Client's ID1 fabrication facility buildout. This role will provide day-to-day technical assistance for infrastructure deployment, hardware installation, cable management, device troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data center or industrial IT environments, is comfortable working in fast-paced construction or buildout settings, and can follow detailed instructions from remote engineering teams.
Technical Skills
- Experience with rack and stack of servers, switches, and other IT hardware
- Proficient in cable management and labeling standards (Cat6, fiber, etc.)
- Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting (ping tests, port checks, etc.)
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostics and component replacement (memory, drives, power supplies)
- Comfortable using ticketing systems and following remote engineering instructions
- Experience working in data center or industrial buildout environments
- Basic knowledge of IP addressing and port configuration is a plus
- Ability to read and follow site diagrams, patch plans, and deployment checklists
