Job Description: Tier 2 Windows 11 Upgrade Technician

Overview
We are seeking a Tier 2 Windows 11 Upgrade Technician to support our healthcare organization s transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 at our Torrance, CA facility. This onsite role focuses on executing upgrades, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.
Responsibilities
Plan and perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades on clinical and administrative devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to compatibility, applications, and system performance.
Support end-users (clinicians, staff) with training and guidance on Windows 11.
Test systems post-upgrade to ensure stability and compatibility with healthcare applications (e.g., EHR systems).
Document issues and resolutions for the IT knowledge base.
Qualifications
2+ years of IT support experience, including Windows OS upgrades.
Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
Familiarity with healthcare IT and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or CompTIA A+/Network+.
Working Conditions
Location: Fully onsite at Lomita Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505.
Schedule: Monday Friday
Physical Requirements: May lift equipment (up to 25 lbs) for upgrades.
