"Change Healthcare Imaging Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in integrating imaging and radiology workflow management solutions into healthcare facilities. This involves ensuring seamless transitions, optimizing workflows, and training staff to maximize the benefits of these advanced technologies.

Role and responsibilities

  • Project Management and Coordination: Lead and manage the implementation process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • System Configuration and Deployment:Configure and deploy Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and other imaging applications, including workflow intelligence and integration with third-party systems.
  • Workflow Analysis and Optimization: Analyze existing radiology workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing standardized procedures to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Integration with EHR/EMR: Ensure seamless integration between imaging systems, PACS, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to provide clinicians with comprehensive patient information.
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals on the use and capabilities of imaging systems and software.
  • Technical Troubleshooting and Support:Investigate and resolve technical issues related to the imaging applications, hardware, operating systems, and networking services.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful adoption of the implemented solutions.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of PACS, DICOM standards, radiology workflows, and enterprise-level healthcare IT solutions.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, schedule, allocate resources, and manage complex projects effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical information clearly and facilitate training sessions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical and integration challenges efficiently.
  • Adaptability and Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, applications, and evolving healthcare industry standards.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, IT, or a related role, preferably with experience in radiology, imaging, or biomedical industries."
