Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team in New York, New York, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee IT operations and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security across the organization. This position is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong technical background and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain IT systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and endpoint security solutions.
Oversee desktop imaging, device deployment, and helpdesk operations to ensure seamless user experiences.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues within Cisco infrastructure to maintain optimal connectivity.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, aligning with organizational frameworks and best practices.
Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve operational goals.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and change management initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support technology needs and streamline workflows.
Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and systems.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance IT capabilities and meet evolving business requirements.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and endpoint security technologies.
Hands-on experience with desktop imaging, device deployment, and helpdesk systems.
Strong knowledge of network performance monitoring and Cisco infrastructure.
Proven ability to lead teams and deliver measurable improvements in IT operations.
Exceptional documentation, communication, and change management skills.
Preferred experience in healthcare, education, or human services industries.
Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft 365 Admin, or equivalent are advantageous.
