Job Description
Thinking Minds Inc. is seeking a Senior S4 Architect to lead the end-to-end solutions and capabilities for a significant Digital Transformation initiative using SAP S/4 HANA. This position offers a short-term, 3-month engagement based in Fremont, CA, with a requirement to be in the office one day a week.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP S/4 HANA solutions as a key component of the Digital Transformation program, enhancing business value through well-integrated and thoroughly tested deployments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and various architectural and development teams to promote a culture of solution governance, ensuring that solutions align with established guidelines and integrate smoothly across various systems.
- Engage in defining and communicating a shared functional and technical vision, ensuring solutions meet business and technical viability, feasibility, and sustainability.
- Participate in proof-of-concept sessions to develop, test, and implement innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities.
- Define and ensure compliance with nonfunctional requirements such as performance, security, UI/UX, and integration to develop scalable solutions.
- Support project management offices in the governance of project elements and contribute to the continuous evolution of solutions to optimize business processes.
- Maintain the application landscape and project documentation, and participate in the release governance of the solution roadmap.
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 15-18 years of experience in SAP technologies, with at least 5-6 years in SAP S/4 HANA and SAP BTP/Fiori, and designing end-to-end integrated solutions.
- Extensive experience in leading S4 greenfield implementations and in integrations using API and other micro-services.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams towards common goals.
- Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies, DevOps principles, IT Security, and an understanding of architectural frameworks like TOGAF.
