OverviewThe Director of Data & AI Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping, embedding, and scaling a data-driven and AI-empowered culture across our global organization. This leader will act as a change catalyst, ensuring employees at all levels treat data as a strategic asset (valued, trusted , accessible and used to drive business decisions) , and embrace innovative and ethical adoption of AI.
ResponsibilitiesThis is accomplished by designing and implementing cultural transformation initiatives (data & AI literacy programs , communications, engagement programs, data governance council) targeting key personas (such as business leaders, S&T leaders, business data owners, AI initiative owners, end users, D&AI professionals) that are pivotal in shifting the data and AI mindset across PepsiCo. These efforts will empower smarter, data-informed decisions, accelerate innovation, and build a stronger foundation of trust with our customers and regulators.
Cultural Transformation & Change Leadership- Define and execute a global Data & AI culture strategy (vision and multi year roadmap) that promotes data accountability, trust, fuels innovation and embeds responsible data and Ai practices into the fabric of the organization.
- Drive advocacy across senior leaders to sponsor a data driven and AI enabled mindset, cascading change from the top.
- Champion change management initiatives (training, communications, leadership development, recognition) to embed a data driven and an AI enabled mindset across the enterprise
Data & AI Literacy & Upskilling- Build and scale a data and AI literacy program, ensuring employees across functions and geographies have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively apply data and AI, enabling smarter decisions, fostering trust and enabling innovation, in collaboration with HR, Learning & Development and Transformation Teams
- Data Literacy covers data concepts, EDF,(enterprise data foundation) data governance, storytelling, tools such as data discovery and visualization, responsible use of data, data ownership track). AI literacy covers AI concepts/maturity, application of AI across value chain, business process reinvention with AI, AI tools, responsible use of AI
- Develop differentiated learning paths (executives, managers, frontline staff, technical practitioners).
Governance & Ethical AI Advocacy- Partner with data & ai governance, risk, and compliance teams to align culture initiatives with responsible AI principles and data governance frameworks.
- Engagement & Storytelling
- Act as a bridge between business , technology and executive teams translating complex data and ai concepts into accessible language
- Develop engaging and aesthetic communications and content to convey complex information in simple terms to inspire a global workforce, including the D&AI vision, organization, services, data and AI success stories , etc
- Support data & AI teams to develop easy to understand best practices and guidance
- Amplify messages via diverse channels (town halls, events, intranet, external forums) to reach global audience
- Create communities of practice and ambassador networks to scale advocacy.
Measurement & Impact- Define KPIs to measure cultural adoption of data and ai (adoption rates, literacy levels, employee sentiment, trust in AI, business outcomes).
- Continuously refine approaches based on feedback, global cultural nuances, and business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:- The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. - Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MA in Org Behavior, or similar).
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale culture change, organizational development, or transformation programs-5+ years in data/AI or technology-focused roles strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of influencing senior leaders and driving measurable behavior change in complex, global organizations.
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, and AI concepts , risks and governance.
- Experience building global programs with localization capabilities across regions, cultures, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills; comfortable leading workshops and executive briefings.
- Strategic Thinking: The capacity to develop and articulate a vision for a data-driven and AI-enabled culture that aligns with overall business objectives.
- Change Management Expertise: Experience in leading organizational change initiatives, understanding employee resistance, and implementing strategies to foster adoption and buy-in
