Job responsibilities
- Behavioral Design: Provide subject matter expertise on how to change behaviors at work.
- Content Design: Work with behavioral scientists, instructional and content designers to create Plays for the Team or learning content that help teams adopt new ways of working.
- Qualitative Research: Conduct qualitative research and interviews to validate whether new ways of working are effectively solving collaboration challenges.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with partners in content design, data science, marketing and sales to bring new practices to life.
Skills
Must have:
- Experience in designing and conducting qualitative research and synthesizing results
- Experience designing experiments to validate whether interventions drive positive outcomes
- Ability to turn research findings into compelling narratives crafted for different sets of stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with learning design, program management, product, marketing, and sales
- Comfortable adapting to constant change and responding to shifting strategic priorities
- Willingness to share early-stage work and iterate often
- Proactive communication and proven track record of meeting deadlines
- A roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a strong get sh*t done mentality, independently tackling challenges and contributing to team success by pitching in wherever needed
Extra desirable:
- Experience conducting academic literature reviews
- Comfort with prompt-writing and experimenting with AI technologies
Education/Experience
- A background in behavioral science or psychology is required, with a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field
- Experience working embedded in a product or user experience research (UXR) team
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an applied research setting (outside of academia)
- Experience conducting research in teamwork and future of work topic areas
