Client of mine is looking for a Lead Motional Planning Engineer to join their team.

My client is a startup swarm robotics company for industry and defense. Their focus is on building swarm of robots for low cost with an autonomous stack optimized to perform regular task and a global planner that enables swarm capabilities for groups of robots to accomplish knowledgeable tasks.

For this product they are searching for a talented Motion Planning Engineer to lead their ground swarm robots. In this position you will be responsible for creating and planning modules to provide traversable, practicable trajectories for off road terrain that includes static and dynamic obstacles. You'll be leveraging the outputs of a perception system to determine environmental costs to use in the planning system you develop and the planning modules created will need to achieve real time timing and performance targets. Collaboration with company leadership will be key to align autonomous navigation capabilities

This is an onsite position in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area.

Ideal candidates will have experience:
  • Experience developing Motion planning solutions for Autonomous ground vehicles and other mobile robots.
  • Strong coding experience in C++ for algorithm development and autonomous vehicle functions
  • Developing production level software
