Sr. Data Analyst

Location: Fort Worth TX

What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Data Analyst supporting the Sustainment Spares Modeling and Demand Planning Team in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve as a critical link between data, decision-making, and mission success. In this high-impact role, you will apply your analytical skills to forecast spares needs, streamline supply chain operations, and support the sustainment of advanced defense systems. You'll work closely with internal teams and external customers to identify data trends, automate processes, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and readiness. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with real-world operational impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across internal teams and with external customers to assess and plan for spares needs that support mission readiness.

- Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

- Build and automate data pipelines and reporting dashboards to streamline analytics and enhance decision-making.

- Evaluate maintenance plan changes for supportability and assess spare part compatibility for deploying aircraft.

- Support internal planning by tracking team deliverables and identifying risks or opportunities for better performance.

- Provide data-driven recommendations that enable quick, informed decisions by execution teams and leadership.

- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process automation solutions and efficiency enhancements.

- Participate in frequent customer engagements and provide data insights that align with their sustainment needs.

- Maintain awareness of evolving program requirements and integrate relevant data inputs to adjust forecasting models.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or 5 years experience in absence of degree

- Demonstrated Data Analytics experience

- Experience working with large datasets - system level extraction, formatting, ingestion/aggregation, and/or processing data

- Demonstrated experience with statistics with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated experience with programming and query development (i.e. C++, Python, SQL)

- Demonstrated experience with project management (i.e. managing cost, schedule, deadlines)

Desired skills

- Background in STEM related field, Operations Research, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering or Supply Chain Management

- Root-Cause Corrective-Action knowledge/ability

- Previous experience with data analysis, performance investigation in logistics disciplines, primarily supply and/or maintenance

- Prior US Military background in logistics disciplines, primarily supply and/or maintenance a plus

- Spares determination modeling or inventory analysis experience; Readiness Based Spares (RBS) experience a plus

- Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, ability to make presentations, and assertive personality in getting a response or action completed

- Experience with python, VBA or SQL, HANA and/or Tableau

- Experience mining SAP data such as inventory movements

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
