About the Role:
Here at Crowdstrike our internal development teams are just as important to us as our external customers. The CICD team is dedicated to helping ensure our developers have the right tools and support to ship our product. We are looking to add operations engineers to help increase the velocity at which our developers can get things done. The operations team will collaborate across numerous business units allowing them to quickly learn and grow.

What You'll Do:
  • Intake of service partner questions/issues relating to build and test tooling
  • Communication for best practices on using build tools and providing the proper guidance to developers
  • Troubleshoot issues with software pipelines, infrastructure, and other internal platform services
  • Collaboration with all CICD teams to resolve pain points, toil, and emerging issues
  • Ownership of documentation for developers, relating to CICD build tools
  • Developing, implementing, and streamlining new and existing CICD workflows
  • Assisting in resolving escalated issues and integration problems affecting existing delivery pipelines
  • Assisting in incident RCAs with all CICD teams to make sure to avoid recurring of similar incidents by having preventive measures or proactive monitoring to catch potential issues before our partners identify them
  • Provide guidance for service validation after scheduled maintenances


What You'll Need:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline or relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
  • Must be able to work with a distributed team across multiple time zones.
  • Must work effectively and professionally as part of a team with worldwide, cross-functional groups across divisions.
  • Must exhibit attention to detail, and have the ability to make good, timely decisions and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks
  • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast pace/quickly changing environment.
  • Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with Infrastructure tools - examples: Linux, Windows, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experience with public clouds: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure
  • Experience utilizing source-code repositories backed by git - examples: Bitbucket, Gitlab, etc.
  • Experience with CICD pipeline tools - examples: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.
  • Common Scripting Languages - examples: Go, Bash, Powershell, Python, Groovy, etc.
  • Artifacts management tools - examples: Jfrog Artifactory, Nexus, etc.
