Senior Backend Engineer / Python

We are currently collaborating with a business that specializes in developing cutting-edge medical delivery methods by harnessing the potential of genetic medicine. Their goal is to increase the efficacy of both new and established genetic medications by employing machine learning to find interesting, less previously studied formulas and bodily structures.

The ideal applicant must have solid Python (3.9 and above) skills, be able to work with Flask, Django, or Fast API, and have a working understanding of LLM APIs. Building out ML training pipelines and implementing custom machine learning models will be a big part of the role and are a huge bonus as well.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience using Python (3.9 and above) and has a strong understanding of asynchronous programming
• Experience with one of the following: Flask, Fast API, Django
• Working knowledge using LLM APIs or other related tools
• Comfortable working with AWS APIs
• Clear communication, both written and verbal

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS in CS or equivalent related work experience
• Pydantic
• Pytorch
• Experience integrating custom ML models
• Experience building ML training pipelines
