Job Summary

V2 Innovations Inc is seeking an experienced Charles River Systems Administrator (CRIMS & CRPM) to join our dynamic financial technology team. This role will provide Level 1 support, system administration, and configuration expertise during the early implementation and rollout of Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) and Charles River Portfolio Management (CRPM) platforms.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between business users, technology teams, and implementation partners, ensuring stability, seamless performance, and adoption of the Charles River ecosystem across the entire trade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of support for traders, portfolio managers, compliance officers, and operations teams using CRIMS and CRPM.
  • Troubleshoot system access, navigation issues, data inconsistencies, and basic configuration errors.
  • Perform user provisioning, access control, and permission management in collaboration with IT Security and Compliance.
  • Execute basic configuration updates (e.g., workflows, rules, reference data mapping) following established implementation protocols.
  • Monitor system health, run daily operational checks, and ensure data integrity and uptime.
  • Manage ticket escalation and resolution by collaborating with internal teams and Charles River's implementation partners.
  • Participate in system testing, integration, and post-deployment validation of CRIMS and CRPM connections to:
    • Market data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters)
    • Trade matching & settlement platforms (e.g., DTCC, Broadridge)
    • Risk, analytics, and compliance systems
  • Create and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and user documentation.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and data queries using CRIMS tools or SQL when required.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Charles River CRIMS and/or CRPM systems.
  • Proven background in Level 1 or Level 2 technical support within investment management, hedge fund, or financial services domains.
  • Deep understanding of front-office workflows, including order management, compliance checks, trade execution, and post-trade processing.
  • Familiarity with CRIMS modules, including compliance rules engine, portfolio views, and trade blotters.
  • Strong grasp of trade lifecycle management and investment operations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to document issues, prioritize tickets, and collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Charles River system implementation, upgrades, or migration projects.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, and market/reference data management tools.
  • Exposure to asset management or alternative investment environments.
  • Knowledge of integration between CRIMS and OMS/PMS tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
