Information Systems Architect - Advanced
Interview Process: Interviews will take place via MICROSOFT TEAMS WITH CAMERA ON. Scheduling as soon as possible after the posting closes. Be prepared to show ID on camera to be documented. Casual attire is permitted.
Duration of the Contract: 12 Months
Possibility for Extension: Yes
Work Location: 100% Remote
Candidate Location: Must reside within the US for the duration of the contract and be willing to travel to SC as deemed necessary.
Working hours need to remain flexible within 40 hours per week, on-call and weekend work required
occasionally. Main working hours are 8am- 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Key duties and Responsibilities
Extensive knowledge/skills of the Health-IT industry which includes multi-tiered architectures, enterprise applications, evaluation of emerging technologies, networks, data management systems, enterprise security, and hardware systems as they relate to Electronic Health Records, Health Information Exchanges and Electronic Medication Administration Records. Ability to plan, organize, direct, and review the work of technical personnel. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients, technical staff, management, vendors, and others. Extensive knowledge of the principles and techniques of planning programs and work activities in a technical environment.
Required Skills
10+ years experience working with Electronic Health Records
5+ years experience with using Nextgen EHR, PM and EDR
Nextgen Certification
Experience with ICD-9/ICD-10
5 +Health care specific data interface standards, and health information exchange technologies
Preferred Skills
Experience with SQL
Experience with Crystal Reports, eMAR, Mirth, PACs,CIPS/Fusion or Merge
Experience with HL7
Education Requirement
BACHELORS DEGREE
