Technical Trainer Facilitator

Our client, a leader in telecommunications and fiber optic services, is seeking a dedicated Technical Trainer to join their team. As a Technical Trainer, you will be part of the Training Department supporting the technical development of new and existing team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for teaching, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Trainer

Location: Norristown, Pennsylvania

What's the Job?

• Communicate, demonstrate, and coach students on installing fiber optic internet services at customer premises
• Utilize adult learning concepts and facilitation skills to deliver effective training sessions
• Identify and correct improper techniques during training to ensure skill mastery
• Access and utilize training materials via computers or tablets, providing completion credits for students
• Support trainees in understanding equipment such as Optical Network Terminals, routers, modems, drops, and fiber cables

What's Needed?

• Understanding of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques
• Effective verbal communication skills for in-person and virtual training delivery
• Ability to identify and correct improper skill use during training sessions
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications equipment and safety protocols
• Familiarity with computers or tablets used for training access and management
