Description
We are looking for a NetSuite Business Systems Engineer to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in managing and optimizing NetSuite and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless operations across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving system efficiency and data integrity within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain NetSuite roles, workflows, SuiteScript, dashboards, and metrics to support organizational needs.
Develop and implement integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise platforms, ensuring smooth data flows and resolving technical issues.
Analyze business requirements to design system solutions that enhance workflows and processes.
Provide technical expertise in system upgrades, architecture strategy, and data governance.
Document system configurations, processes, and architecture to maintain clear and accessible records.
Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to uphold IT policies and ensure business continuity.
Support training initiatives by creating documentation and guiding users on system functionalities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead change management efforts to implement solutions.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize disruptions.
Assist with team development by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite, including SuiteScript and system configuration.
Strong understanding of finance, operations, and sales/marketing processes.
Experience with system integrations, APIs, and middleware tools.
Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards using tools like NetSuite and Power BI.
Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot is a plus.
