Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and SDLC best practices. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product releases, managing test strategies, and driving continuous improvement in QA processes.
Note: This position is available for W2 candidates only. We are not considering C2C or 1099 arrangements at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).
Define and implement robust QA strategies, processes, and metrics.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality standards.
Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Drive test automation initiatives and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Manage defect tracking, resolution, and continuous feedback loops.
Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.
Ensure timely product releases through risk-based testing and quality metrics tracking.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in a QA leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
Strong knowledge of QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience testing cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
