DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Visual Enterprise Generator (VEG) Specialist to support secure enterprise operations. The candidate will be responsible for Migration, installation, configuration, and administration of VEG, focusing on 2D/3D visualization, CAD data processing, and content distribution.

This role requires strong expertise in integrating VEG with SAP PLM, ECC, and CAMS. The VEG Specialist will also support enterprise content publishing, CAD data conversion workflows, and cloud migration projects (SAP NS2, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).

Key Responsibilities

• SAP Basis Migration Experience required
• Serve as the SME for SAP Visual Enterprise Generator (VEG) in a secure environment.
• Migration, Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SAP VEG systems.
• Configure VEG for CAD/3D visualization, data conversion, and content publishing workflows.
• Integrate VEG with SAP PLM, CAMS for enterprise-wide visualization.
• Support cloud migration and re-platforming projects.
• Ensure VEG configurations comply with DoD STIGs and security standards.
• Monitor and optimize VEG performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical support for visualization workflows.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and integration architecture diagrams.

Required Skills & Experience

• SAP NetWeaver ABAP and NW NetWeaver Java migration experience.
• Handling database export and import in various SAP products.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP Visual Enterprise Generator administration.
• Strong expertise in CAD data processing, visualization, and content distribution workflows.
• Hands-on integration with SAP PLM, S/4HANA, and ECC.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, system monitoring, and scripting.
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity compliance (STIGs, FedRAMP, DISA).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in secure enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP NS2, AWS GovCloud, or Azure Government migrations.
• Certifications in SAP Visual Enterprise, CAD/PLM systems, or cloud platforms.
• Prior DoD/NS2 project experience with an active clearance.
• Experience supporting Model-Based Enterprise (MBE), Digital Twin, or visualization initiatives.
