AWS Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AWS Developer in Grand Rapids, MI.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, deploying, and managing applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:
* AWS Developer will design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
* Write and maintain robust, clean, and efficient code
* As an AWS Developer, you will configure AWS environments, including setup, monitoring, and optimization
* Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
* Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
