In tis role you'll engage in every development phase to ensure an interactive and useful web application. You'll be a part of developing and articulating requirements and product visions through conceptualization, communicating and implementation.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
\n

\n
• Creating new features as well as enhancing existing features
\n
• Optimizing existing functionality, from conception and design through to testing and deployment
\n
• Working on projects that make our network more stable, faster, and more secure
\n
• Collaborating with development and system QA teams to create regression tests for new software changes
\n
• .Partnering with our operations teams to investigate and troubleshoot complex problem escalations for our customers
\n

To be successful in this role you will:
\n

• Have expertise designing and developing web applications or data pipelines using Java or Scala or JavaScript
\n
• Have Query language experience like SQL for reporting and data analysis
\n
• Have working knowledge with Linux or UNIX operating systemsBe able to pay meticulous attention to details
\n
• Possess excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a collaborative manner
\n

Compensation
\n
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $83,800 - $174,200/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
