Senior IT Support Technician

We are seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to join a manufacturing company for a 6-12 month contract with potential for conversion into permanent employee. The ideal candidate will have exposure to basic network administration with Cisco and Unify.


  • Location: Onsite in Lincolnton, NC
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $25-33/hour plus benefits

What You ll Do:


  • Provide Level 2/3 IT support for end users, with a focus on Windows 11, Office 365, and Azure (basic account adjustments, password resets, computer assignments).
  • Support networking tasks, including basic Cisco switch administration (login, restore a port, VLAN knowledge, basic commands) and Unify switch/access point configuration (conditioning devices, no scratch configuration required).
  • Perform desktop support duties including imaging, Intune assignments, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues quickly; escalate or leverage resources appropriately instead of prolonged troubleshooting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service maintain professionalism, patience, and a friendly demeanor when supporting employees on the manufacturing floor.
  • Engage in ticketing and documentation processes (training will be provided as needed).
  • Physical requirements: ability to walk the manufacturing floor and lift equipment as needed.

What Gets You the Job:


  • 5+ years in IT support within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong Windows 11, Office 365, and Azure support experience.
  • Experience with basic Cisco switch administration and Unify networking devices.
  • Familiarity with VLANs, imaging processes, and Intune device management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to listen, take notes, and explain solutions clearly.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to long-term growth opportunities.
