Job Title: Performance Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Required Qualifications:


* Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in Performance engineering with some exposure to SAP or similar packaged products/DBs
* Strong experience in DB Performance tuning and engineering.
* In-depth knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries and stored procedures
* Experience in doing in-depth Root Cause Analysis to identify performance bottlenecks
* Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++.
* Expertise in performance testing tools, including LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
* Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, visualization, end-to-end performance evaluation, and root cause analysis.
* Experience working with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.
* Proficient in using application performance monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
* Skilled in using various profiling tools to efficiently identify performance bottlenecks.
Good to have Skills:
* Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on the SAP HANA.
* Understanding of SAP BTP components such as API Management (APIM), SAP Integration Suite, Conversational AI (CAI), Data Intelligence (SAP DI), and AWS storage services.
* Expertise in application and database performance monitoring in SAP, HANA DB cockpit, and SAP BTP cockpit.
