Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute QA efforts for complex projects in the telecom domain
Collaborate with test leads and developers to plan, execute, and validate functional, regression, and system tests
Leverage automation tools (Selenium with Java) to streamline testing and improve coverage
Manage and track defects through established defect management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
Support and mentor junior testers as needed; take ownership of deliverables and deadlines
Participate in daily stand-ups and provide detailed reporting on test progress and blockers
Qualifications:
3+ years of QA/testing experience, including manual and automated testing
Telecom industry experience is required - familiarity with telecom products, systems, and terminology
Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java for test automation
Strong defect management experience and attention to detail in test case execution
Proven ability to work independently and lead small QA efforts or teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
