Job Overview


The Senior Systems Administrator will ensure the smooth and secure operation of computer systems-covering both hardware and software across physical and virtual environments. This is a technical leadership role that also includes collaboration, compliance, and on-call responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities



  • System Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical/virtual servers, storage arrays, and endpoints.

  • Security & Compliance: Handle user identity (on-prem and cloud), group policy management, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to BSA/AML/CFT/Sanctions policies.

  • Project Support: Act as a technical lead and collaborate with teams to meet business objectives.

  • Backup & Recovery: Monitor and implement data protection strategies.

  • Change Management: Document and get approval for system changes.

  • On-Call Duty: Participate in a rotating emergency support schedule.


Minimum Requirements



  • Education & Experience: Associate degree or 7+ years of equivalent experience.

  • Certifications: Not mandatory but expected to obtain certifications (Azure, MCSA/MCSE, VMware, etc.) within a year.

  • Technical Skills:


    • Microsoft tech stack: AD DS, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange, M365

    • VMware vSphere expertise

    • Scripting (PowerShell, batch, shell)

    • Linux/UNIX experience

    • MECM/SCCM and 3rd-party patching

    • Cisco UCS, SAN (FC/iSCSI), SaaS, PKI/certificate management


  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication (technical & non-technical), teamwork, and time management.
