Pinterest is on a mission to improve the comprehensiveness and shoppability of ads on our platform. We're accomplishing this by expanding our advertising demand sources through partnerships with third-party ad platforms and working closely with agencies and media companies who manage performance marketing budgets.

As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing - Ad Demand and Growth Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our third-party ad demand program through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective go-to-market strategies. You will partner closely with product leadership to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for programmatic ads solutions and ensure future investment in solutions are positioned effectively and successfully in the market.

What you'll do:
  • Lead a team of talented product marketing managers who are responsible for:
    • Shaping our product direction through market analysis, research and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design teams
    • Defining positioning, go-to-market messaging and launch plans for new advertising solutions that unlock meaningful value for our advertisers and contribute to key growth goals
    • Assessing the capabilities and value proposition of our advertising solutions through strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis
    • Developing market expertise to inform business requirements for new products
    • Serving as an advocate for our customers; demonstrating broad expertise and empathy for customer pain points
    • Driving cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, tracking success metrics accordingly
    • Using data and insights to drive alignment on strategic priorities and influence our overall monetization strategy
    • Educating and inspiring internal and external teams on Pinterest's solutions for advertisers and partners alike
    • Building close XFN partnerships across Product, Engineering, Business Development, as well as Sales, Marketing, Communications, PR and Legal
  • Grow revenue by opening new channels of advertising demand via partnerships with a wide variety of ecosystem players (e.g. 3P ad platforms, performance marketing agencies, etc)
  • Develop and execute programs that deliver revenue and product adoption growth through third-party partnerships (including customer data platforms, ecommerce platforms, content management systems, integration partners, etc)

What we're looking for:
  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising at a fast growing ad tech company, agency or digital platform
  • Deep expertise in online advertising and the broader ad tech landscape, including the various commercial models at play across the ecosystem
  • Experience working with a variety of ecosystem players, including: demand side platforms (DSPs), ad exchanges, retail media networks (RMNs), media agencies, ecommerce platforms, customer data platforms, etc
  • Familiarity with advertising APIs and feed-based advertising products
  • Experience distilling down market opportunities and insights for the purpose of defining both commercial and go-to-market strategies
  • Sharp eye for detail and proven project management and operational skills
  • Keen ability to translate complexity into simple, clear communication and approach
