Location: Iselin, NJ (Day 1 onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a 15 years AWS Cloud Project Manager to lead a comprehensive on-premises to AWS cloud migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project management, hands-on experience with cloud migration projects, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful delivery. This role requires strategic thinking, technical fluency, and excellent stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end cloud migration from on-prem infrastructure to AWS.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively drive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements during migration.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing cloud migration projects, especially to AWS.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management with at least 4 years in cloud migration.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Background in enterprise IT environments and legacy system modernization.
  • PMP or Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM) are a plus.
