D365 Project Manager
This is a full time salary position. The rate is around $135,000 annual.
Job description
Seeking a seasoned Project Manager that can lead key business and technology initiatives from initiation through production close-out. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project on assigned PMO projects, including, but not limited to, project definition, project plans, organizing resources, conducting meetings, requirements gathering, overseeing development, testing, and implementation. This role will be responsible for managing a single significant project.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and control of a project to successful completion
Follow established Project management Methodology to ensure project delivery, framework, tasks, activities, and deliverables are represented and accounted for in project plans, timelines, and the system of record
Schedule and facilitate all project meetings, identify project team and responsibilities, and serve as a single point of contact for projects
Plan the Discovery process (based on the customer s business process overview). Drive the discovery sessions by asking all the right questions to extract the required information out of the key functional stakeholders
Monitor Development progress and ensure documented requirements are being met to the customer s satisfaction
Test and validate the functionality along with the QA Analyst; document test plans
Coordinate and schedule periodic and ad hoc check in calls with the customer; prepare meeting minutes to summarize the discussion and highlight action items
Lead the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Be the key liaison and manage the relationship with the client s PM and functional stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and escalate risk areas to upper management as they arise
Assist with prepare weekly project status reports and send to the customer
Present Sprint demos to the customer before kicking off UAT
Support and monitor the UAT sessions with the customer s UAT lead
Experience & Skills Required:
3+ years of Project Management experience in the IT Industry
Experience with at least 4-5 successful new Technical Project implementations
Exceptional customer management skills
Advanced Knowledge of the SDLC
Dynamics 365/Power Apps experience a PLUS
Federal Government IT Project experience a PLUS
Personality Traits Required
Ability to act as a liaison between the customer, developers and other stakeholders
Ability to multitask and juggle conflicting priorities efficiently
Clear communication, writing, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environment
Independent problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities
