Our financial services client is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join their team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $80.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Requirements of the Java Software Engineer:
- At least 7 years of experience in Java application development using Spring
- At least 7 years of experience in database design and development using Oracle / PostgreSQL
- At least 5 years of UI development using Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML 5
- Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, API documentation (Swagger)
- Solid understanding in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Angular, Tableau and SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL)
- Solid understanding of E2E ALM tools like JIRA, gitStash, FishEye, Crucible, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy
- Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open-Source technologies
- Working knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage and scaling
- Knowledge of web application development using JSP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Angular
