IT Project Manager

Qualification:

• Experience in managing and leading large-scale IT projects for U.S. Government agencies, serving as Project Manager for initiatives exceeding $500K, lasting 12+ months, and involving federal and grant funding, vendor oversight, external stakeholder coordination, and nationwide deployments.
• Skilled in developing and executing complete Project Management Plans covering Charter, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Communication, Change, Risk, Issue, and Resource management through all project phases from initiation to closeout.
• Experienced in building and maintaining detailed project schedules in tools such as Microsoft Project, tracking progress and variances against baselines, and managing delivery under Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid frameworks, including facilitation of scrum sessions and executive status reporting.
• Proficient in developing and controlling project scope and deliverables, authoring and reviewing Scope Documents, managing deliverable acceptance, and applying structured change control processes.
• Strong background in quality management, encompassing quality planning, assurance, end-to-end testing, UAT, defect management, metrics analysis, and governance.
• More than four years of experience overseeing COTS implementations and in-house application development projects within the SDLC framework.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
