Key Responsibilities (High-Level)
- Define the end-to-end architecture for global datacenter control systems, including DCMI, BMS, SCADA/PLC integration, and telemetry platforms.
- Unify all facilities systems into a cohesive control ecosystem, enabling reliable monitoring, automation, and supervisory control across power and cooling infrastructure.
- Develop standards, data models, and reference architectures for real-time telemetry, observability, digital twins, and cross-vendor equipment interoperability.
- Drive fault-tolerant control design and automation, ensuring safe-state behavior, redundancy, and hyperscale operational reliability.
- Align software, controls, MEP engineering, and operations teams, ensuring system designs match real equipment behaviors and datacenter operational needs.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding development teams implementing the control and automation platform.
- 15+ years engineering large-scale distributed or real-time systems, with significant experience in industrial controls, data-center BMS, SCADA, PLC integration, or OT/ICS automation.
- 10+ years building software for datacenter environments, including BMS/DCMI/EPMS systems or supervisory control platforms.
- Expert knowledge of telemetry, time-series data systems, historian databases, controls protocols (BACnet, ModbTCP, SNMP, OPC-UA), and equipment integration.
- Proven ability to architect high-availability control systems, digital twins, and automation frameworks for mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
- Strong skills in modern programming languages (Go, Python, Java/C++), microservices architectures, and cloud-native deployment models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, guide engineering teams, and present to senior leadership.
