Description
Notre client du gouvernement fdral est responsable de la planification, de l'acquisition et de la gestion du cycle de vie du matriel, et fournit un soutien direct aux employs ministriels dans le cadre du renouvellement du matriel, depuis la configuration initiale jusqu'au soutien quotidien en cas d'incident. L'quipe soutient environ 39000 employs et 2850 stations de travail d'accs citoyen (CAWS) rparties travers le Canada. Les principaux appareils utiliss par les employs comprennent des tablettes, des ordinateurs portables et des ordinateurs de bureau.
En plus d'tre directement responsable des investissements ministriels en GI/TI dans les infrastructures et les applications d'entreprise, le groupe comprend l'approvisionnement et le soutien permettant aux utilisateurs d'accder localement et distance des applications individuelles, de groupe de travail, spcifiques aux programmes, d'entreprise, aux services de bureau (approvisionnement/soutien) et aux fonctionnalits du rseau local (LAN, physique ou virtuel), y compris les services de fichiers/impression et d'annuaire.
Des quipes dcentralises sont situes travers le Canada pour grer ces investissements et services. Bien que ces services soient actuellement offerts par l'quipe de soutien TI et les employs, le manque de ressources certains endroits ncessite une aide afin de respecter les dlais pour certains services oprationnels spcifiques, ce qui pourrait ultimement avoir un impact ngatif sur les services aux Canadiens s'ils ne sont pas livrs temps.
L'quipe de soutien TI a besoin d'une quipe de techniciens en dploiement de matriel pour soutenir le projet national d'amnagement et plusieurs projets d'amnagement dans divers emplacements d'EDSC/Service Canada. Les tches comprendront des travaux informatiques de base, ne ncessitant pas de privilges levs ni d'accs des donnes protges ou sensibles.
Niveau 1 :
  • Installation et configuration de priphriques.
  • Rcupration des appareils.
  • Livraison, dplacement et installation de l'quipement dans les bureaux.
  • Effacement des disques avant le retrait de l'ancien quipement du site.
  • Organisation et emballage de l'quipement pour limination.
  • Suivi et rapport sur l'avancement.
  • Gestion des incidents : assignation, valuation, rsolution et documentation des demandes de service.

Description
Our Federal Government Client is responsible for the planning, acquisition and life-cycle management of hardware, and provide direct support to departmental employees in the area of hardware refresh from initial configuration to daily incident support. The Team supports approximately 39,000 employees and 2,850 Citizen Access Workstations (CAWS) located throughout Canada. The main devices utilized by employees include tablets, laptops and desktops.
In addition to being directly accountable for the corporate IM/IT investments in infrastructure and corporate applications, the group includes the provisioning and support that provides users with local and remote access to individual, workgroup, program-specific, corporate applications, desktop service (provisioning/support) and Local Area Network (LAN, physical or virtual) functionality including file/print and directory services.
Decentralized teams are located across Canada to manage these investments and services. Although these services are currently being offered by the IT support team and employees, lack of resources in some locations requires assistance to respect the timelines for some specific operational services that could ultimately have a negative impact on services to Canadians if not delivered on time.
The the IT support team requires a team of Hardware Deployment Technicians to support the National Accommodation Project and multiple fit up projects across several ESDC/Service Canada locations. Duties will include basic IT work, not requiring elevated privileges or access to any protected or sensitive data.
Level 1:
Installation and configuration of peripherals.
Picking up devices.
The delivering, moving, and installing of equipment in offices.
Disk wiping prior to removing old equipment from site.
Arranging and packaging equipment for disposal.
Tracking and reporting on progress.
Incident management; assigning, assessing, resolving, and documenting service requests.
