Job Title: Technical Project manager (Cloud Migration)

Location- JacksonVille Florida

Onsite role- Min 4 Days a week

  • Role Overview
  • We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate a large?scale cloud migration initiative for our BFSI customers, impacting 500 to 800 customer environments. This role requires strong program governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate technical strategies into actionable execution plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership
  • Own end?to?end program execution across multiple workstreams for the BFSI cloud migration.
  • Define program objectives, success metrics, and governance structures.
  • Drive alignment between business, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Stakeholder Management (~70%)
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across risk, compliance, operations, and IT.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive updates, and alignment workshops.
  • Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure stakeholder buy?in.
  • Technical Oversight (30%)
  • Understand cloud migration methodologies (lift?and?shift, re?platforming, modernization).
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical designs.
  • Ensure compliance with financial services regulations (PCI DSS, FFIEC, GDPR).
  • Translate technical risks into business impacts for decision?makers.
  • Program Tracking & Governance
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and issues across 700 customer migrations.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and operational standards.
  • Coordinate migration waves to minimize disruption to customer operations.

Migration Schedule Tracking

  • Develop and maintain detailed migration schedules across 800+ customer environments.
  • Track progress against milestones, proactively identify slippages, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure schedule of transparency through dashboards and regular reporting to stakeholders.

Customer Readiness & Engagement

  • Work closely with end customers to assess migration readiness and address gaps before execution.
  • Conduct readiness workshops and provide guidance to ensure smooth transition with minimal disruption.
  • Convince and align customers on migration timelines, balancing business priorities with technical feasibility.

Global Coordination (Onshore Offshore)

  • Collaborate with offshore delivery teams to adjust schedules and resource allocations as needed.
  • Manage time zone differences and ensure seamless communication across global teams.
  • Re?prioritize workloads and migration waves in coordination with offshore teams to meet program objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager in large?scale IT or cloud migration programs.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management within BFSI or other regulated industries.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and migration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with financial technology platforms preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Agile are Needed
