The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $85.00 to $90.00 hourly on W2 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
Network Architect

Seeking a skilled Network Architect with experience in Cisco networking technologies and deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable SD-WAN architectures leveraging Cisco s enterprise networking portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) architectures for large-scale enterprise environments
- Configure, integrate, and maintain Cisco ISR/ASR routers, vEdge/cEdge devices, and vSmart/vBond controllers
- Leverage Cisco vManage for centralized control, monitoring, and analytics of SD-WAN fabric performance
- Integrate SD-WAN solutions with existing enterprise network and security infrastructure (firewalls, WAN, MPLS, and cloud connectivity)
- Implement and maintain routing and segmentation policies in alignment with security and compliance standards
- Perform software upgrades, feature enhancements, and patch deployments across SD-WAN components
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for SD-WAN and WAN-related incidents
- Plan and execute migrations from traditional WAN to SD-WAN environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional network, security, and cloud teams to implement end-to-end solutions
- Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration repositories
- Mentor peers on best practices and design principles for Cisco SD-WAN deployments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Formal training, certification, or work experience in network infrastructure and IT systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) technologies
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and controllers (ISR/ASR, Catalyst, Nexus)
- Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), QoS, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Cisco vManage, vSmart, and vBond for centralized SD-WAN management
- Understanding of security integrations (IPSec, firewall policies, ZBF, segmentation)
- Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years in network engineering roles, with at least 2 years dedicated to Cisco SD-WAN
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise networks
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or CCNP SD-WAN
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with Cisco DNA Center and Zero Trust/SASE frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) using SD-WAN
- Automation and programming (Python, REST APIs, Ansible)
- Experience in large enterprise or financial sector environments
