Lead Business Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years or more years of experience in Capital Markets Technology.
• Deep functional and technical experience in Capital Markets across Front Office, Middle Office, Operations and Finance.
• Strong technical solution and delivery skills.
• Extensive Business Analysis experience in one or more Markets Business: Equities, FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities.
• Understanding of Trade lifecycles, Business Events, Accounting Events, and related data.
• Effective communication and influential skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of data management and big data platforms, which includes Hadoop, Expertise in Big Data querying tools e.g. Hive and Impala, Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, Business Intelligence Tools, Financial message formats (e.g. Fix, FPML, Swift ISO, etc.).
• Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Use of Confluence, JIRA, and other agile team process tools to accelerate team outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Identify and deliver strategic data solutions which will provide long term benefits to the firm.
• Markets data onboardings, Unity Data Controls, Multi-Way reconciliations for Consent Order RBCMs.
• Consolidate Genesis into Olympus, resulting in a unified data fabric to source and distribute data for Finance reporting.
• Strategic alignment of critical data elements used by Finance BCBS reports with data used for SA-CCR and CCR reporting, leveraging Olympus as the single data source for both sets of reporting.
• Devise and deliver solutions for Data Concerns (DCs).
• Markets business critical discretionary requests associated with onboarding, distribution and analysis of data across trades, positions, payments and settlements.
