Senior DevOps Developer

The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior DevOps Developer to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Hazelwood, MO; or Kent, WA.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enabling Software Development teams at Boeing development support will focus on integrated software development toolchains and single development tools.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Designs and develops software development toolchains software for successful product delivery in both on-premises and cloud environments
  • Develops and maintains product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes
  • Contributes towards the development and implementation of design and executes test plans to verify the implementation is as per design (Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, functional testing, and coordinating user acceptance testing)
  • Takes ownership of complex business requirements and completes the associated development to completion
  • Provides application support in remediating ever-changing application vulnerabilities and adheres to strict cybersecurity requirements
  • Assists toolchain support team with incident resolution, as needed
  • Performs thorough regression testing of resolved defects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience with modern DevOps tools and practices
  • Experience with ITAR, EAR, and NIST regulations and their compliance requirements
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks, specifically SAFe teams
  • Experience with analyzing complex data and make data-driven decisions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS Gov and/or Azure Gov
  • Experience in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or defense
  • Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), GitLab, Azure Dev Ops, and Artifactory
