We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cognos BI Developer with expertise in TM1 and Azure to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level BI solutions using IBM Cognos TM1, integrated with Azure cloud services. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cognos BI Developer with expertise in TM1 and Azure to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level BI solutions using IBM Cognos TM1, integrated with Azure cloud services. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Cognos TM1 models, cubes, and reports.
- Implement and optimize TM1 Planning Analytics solutions for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Integrate TM1 with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines using Azure tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and scalability of BI solutions.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for TM1 applications and Azure integrations.
- Document technical designs, processes, and user guides.
- 5+ years of experience in IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of TM1 Rules, TI Processes, and Cube Design.
- Experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
- Proficiency in MDX, SQL, and scripting languages used in TM1.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- TM1 certification or Azure Data Engineer certification.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) domains.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
