Job Details

Title: : Senior RightAngle Architect

Location: Chicago, IL(Hybrid) Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 8 years in IT, with at least 5 years working in the ETRM/CTRM domain.

RA Expertise: Minimum 3 full-cycle RightAngle implementations, with at least 1 2 as an Architect.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of RA modules (Trading, Risk, Logistics, Accounting).

Deep understanding of RA technical architecture and extension capabilities.

Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning).

Hands-on with C#, .NET Framework, WCF/Web Services, and XML.

Familiarity with RA extensibility via screen customizations, workflows, and script/event handlers.

Integration Knowledge: Experience with integrating RA with ERP, Market Data, Credit, or Pricing systems.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Commodities - Experience working across commodities is important, retail/aviation fuel experience would be good to have

Nice to Have:

Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and experience in migrating RA workloads.

Experience in regulatory compliance (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR) within trading systems.

Agile project delivery exposure and DevOps pipeline familiarity.

Commodities - Experience working across commodities is important, retail/aviation fuel experience would be good to have
