Senior Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with a startup mindset to join an organization in the Salt Lake City, UT area.

Summary:
The Senior Full Stack Developer will be a key player in a small, agile team, working on the entire lifecycle of new products, from initial concept to deployment and iteration. They will have the autonomy to make impactful decisions, experiment with new technologies, and see their work directly influence the success of the client's ventures. The Senior Full Stack Developer will be connecting directly with end users through many phases of the process.

Responsibilities:
* Build proofs-of-concept (POCs) and functional prototypes to quickly validate new ideas and de-risk development
* Collaborate closely with product managers and designers, leveraging Figma and sometimes translating into responsive, high-quality code
* Be a core contributor in a cross-functional, autonomous team, taking ownership of the end-to-end development of new applications and services
* Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features in a product-led, customer-centric, data-driven environment
* Focus on delivering measurable outcomes and business impact, not just lines of code
* Rapidly prototype and iterate on new product ideas, embracing a "build, measure, learn" mentality
* Potentially design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend APIs and services and/or integrate with existing ones
* Develop and maintain intuitive and responsive user interfaces that deliver a world-class user experience
* Work with a modern tech stack, with the freedom to explore and recommend new tools and technologies that will help us achieve our goals
* Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the lab and the broader organization

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer in a startup or a similar fast-paced, product-driven environment
* Demonstrable experience working in an outcome-focused, autonomous team
* A strong portfolio of projects that showcases your ability to build and launch products from the ground up
* Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as React and Angular
* Expertise in one or more back-end languages like Node.js, Python, Go, or Ruby
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
* A deep understanding of the principles of product-led development
* A strong interest and some experience with Vibe coding and build automation tools
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with DevOps and Agile environments

Preferred Requirements:
* Experience with microservices and/or service-oriented architecture
* Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with establishing and leveraging CI/CD pipelines
* A passion for great user experiences and an eye for design
* Contributions to open-source projects

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
